We quantitatively measured the effect of geometrical illusions and examined whether any correlation between the illusion strength and aesthetic preference existed. Milller-Lyer and Ebbinghaus illusions were tested in this study. Aesthetic preference was measured separately as evaluations on beauty and preference. The results show no correlation between the illusion strength and the aesthetic preference against a previous report demonstrating the correlation employing Botti-type illusions. Not all geometrical-illusions show the illusion-aesthetics correlation.%本研究では,幾何学的錯視の錯視量と美的選好の評価について測定し,その関係について検討した。
