偏波無依存型のアレイアイソレ－タを内蔵したSOAゲートアレイスイッチモジュール

摘要

Experimental results of the demodulation of optical BPSK. (binary-shift-keying) signals at 40-Gb/s based on homodyne detection using a SC-OPLL (subcarrier optical phase-locked loop) are reported. One of the mainly conventional problems that obstacles stable operation of OPLL-based demodulation, the instability of optical frequency between the incoming residual carrier and the LO (local oscillator) output, is solved by the attempt of employing the optical injection lock technique. Consequently, error-free and stable operation was obtained.%SOAゲートアレイスイッチモジュールに内蔵可能な偏波無依存型アレイアイソレータを開発した。試作した8cbSOAアイソレータの損失およびアイソレーションは、80nmの波長範囲で0.3dB、45dB以上と良好であり、モジュール試作によりその良好な特性を検証した。
