摘要

A frequency sharing and compatibility study between radiocommunication systems has been a great matter of concern in a spectrum management field with the advancement of wireless communications and networking technologies. The increasing number of new global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Compass and QZSS leads to more interference effects on radiocommunication systems operating in the adjacent frequency band. Therefore, a precise interference analysis and a frequency compatibility assessment between GNSSs and neighboring radiocommuncation systems should be conducted prior to a new system operation. This paper presents the simulation results of radio interferences from GNSS signals into the adjacent mobile satellite communication system (MSS) in 1.6 GHz band, and vice versa, and a frequency compatibility condition for the coexistence of GNSSs and a MSS in the same geographical area.
