本論文では,部分的に重なり合った2つの図形の不可視部分の輪郭線を補完する手法を提案する.本手法では遮蔽された図形が線対称軸を持つと仮定する・対称軸を発見するために,提案手法では図形をある線に沿って折り返し,輪郭部分における画素の重なりを調べる・最も輪郭が重なるときの線を線対称軸として検出し,検出した軸に対して図形を折り返すことで輪郭の欠損部分を補完する・実験として,提案手法による補完結果と人間による補完結果を比較した.実験結果から本手法の有効性と限界点を議論した.%In this paper, we propose a method for completing the contour of an object which is partially occluded by another object. We assume that occluded objects have a line symmetric axis. In order to detect the axis, the proposed method folds back the object along a line and counts the overlapped pixels in the contour region. The line along which the contour is mostly overlapped is detected as the line symmetric axis. By folding back the object to the detected axis, the absent part in the contour is completed. As an experiment, we have compared the results of completion by the proposed method and humans. From the experimental results, we have discussed the effectiveness and limitation of the proposed method.
