摘要

Optimization of wireless power transfer (WPT) systems with high performance and misalignment tolerance is investigated in this paper. Key performance indices of WPT are power transfer efficiency (PTE), transferred power (TP), and misalignment tolerance. Misalignment can be radial, axial, or angular, depending on the WPT receiver's degrees of freedom (DoF). A figure of merit (FOM) is proposed to optimize PTE, TP, and six-DoF (6DoF) misalignment tolerances simultaneously. Misalignments in 6DoF are segmented into subregions, and performance within each region is prioritized based on probability of alignment in deriving the FOM. A WPT system with tri-spiral repeater is introduced with the use of proposed FOM as the optimization objective. Theoretical analysis is experimentally validated.
