A mail and protocol conversion node for ISDN facsimile application

摘要

An adapter for conventional G3 facsimiles for communicating over an ISDN network (INS NET-64) is presented. Its external functions, architecture, and control structure are described. The adapter is targeted for a transitional market and is intended to provide reduced communication costs.
