摘要

The linear and nonlinear (based on optical field intensity)nintersubband absorptions in conduction band, and its change innrefractive index in AlGaAs-GaAs interdiffused quantum wells (QWs) arenpresented. The calculation of the electron energy levels and thenenvelope wave functions in a modulation doped interdiffused QWs withnscreening effects are considered. QW interdiffusion shows a wavelengthntunability of the intersubband absorption peaks and refractive indexndispersions. This shifting of the transition energies is alsondemonstrated here to be a useful technique for broad-band and multicolornphotodetector application. In addition, it can serve to remove noise,nsuch as minor peaks and dispersions, in the optical spectra
