Broadband low-loss semiconductor saturable absorber mirrorsn(SESAMs) in the 1.55-Μm wavelength range were monolithically grown bynsolid source molecular beam epitaxy using a Burstein-Moss blue-shiftednGa0.47In0.53As-InP distributed Bragg reflector.nAbsorbers with fast and slow temporal responses were used to start upnand to stabilize a stretched pulse mode-locked fiber laser. Reliablenoperation at a fundamental repetition rate was obtained without multiplenpulse break-up with pulse energy of over 250 pJ
