Call for Proposals for 'The Impact of Immigration on Children's Development' in Contributions to Human Development, Volume 24

We are inviting short proposals from prospective authors for chapters to be published in the upcoming volume of the newly relaunched series of Contributions to Human Development titled The Impact of Immigration on Children's Development, which is scheduled for publication in 2011.rnThe deadline for receiving proposals is August 1, 2010. The decision concerning acceptance of your paper for inclusion in the volume will be given to you within 30 days of receipt. The chapter should be comprehensive in scope, inclusive of theory and empirical evidence and approximately 30 pages in length, plus references, tables and figures. We are very interested in having author representation from all parts of the world and chapters which focus on children of various ages and ethnicities. Accepted chapters must then be sent to the volume editor by December 1, 2010.
