Kahla/Thiiringen Porzellan has received its 80th design prize, which rewards its outstanding contribution to the international coffee culture. The Coffee Innovations Award honors the range Cafe Sommelier, which was developed by designer Barbara Schmidt in collaboration with Germany's first coffee sommelier, Michael Gliss.rnSince its market launch in 2012, Cafe Sommelier has been awarded the Good Design Award Chicago 2012, Focus Open 2012, Interior Innovation Award 2013 and a nomination as Top Hotel Star Award 2013.
