Radiodetection has launched what is claimed to be the world's first web-enabled pipe and cable locating system - the RD4000. The new system not only allows users to configure their locating systems through the internet as well as being able to access and download features, but the technology, developed in-house by Radiodetection's team of R&D engineers, leapfrogs all other equipment currently on the market. Through an internet connection, users are able to register online, access support (including system reconfiguration), download extra features and upgrades quickly and easily.
