The next phase of construction on the M25 between junctions 12 and 14 is ready to start. It is hoped the project will make it easier for motorists to negotiate the stretch on dark winter nights. The next phase requires new traffic management, which is currently being put into place. The new traffic management will remove the contraflow and the crossovers and return traffic to its correct carriageways. This new system will benefit motorists as they will not have to negotiate crossing over the carriageway in the dark. They will also benefit from new temporary lighting, which has been installed in the verges, and residents will benefit from the newly completed noise barrier.
