As part of an ongoing Highways Agency programme to provide road lighting on the A12 bypass around Brent-wood, Essex, WRTL Exterior Lighting's Arc road lighting lanterns were specified over a 2.5 miles stretch of dual carriageway. A total of 300 single and twin Arc 250W SON-T lanterns were supplied for roadside and central reservation mounting. James Bedford, Project Engineer of Mowlem Highways Lighting, commented: "Arc lanterns were specified because they met the engineer's specifications and the environmental considerations at a very competitive price."
