Signfix Inventor Dies

Bob Heard,the inventor of the Signfix channel and clip system,died last month aged 77. After service in the merchant Navy he entered the traffic sign industry holding sales positions with George Pike Ltd and Bergo Ltd. He founded Signfix in 1972 to develop the market for his innovative patented system which revolutionised the traffic sig industry and created a standard that is used to this day.
