Wireless traffic monitor pays its way

Traffic at a number of junctions across Blackburn is running a little smoother thanks to a recent implementation of the new Golden River MWO Wireless Vehicle Detection System, allowing more reliable and cost effective traffic detection. Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council has been working in partnership with Capita Symonds and Clearview Traffic to upgrade three major intersections to MOVA traffic control. This has involved a review of the vehicle detection technology used to highlight traffic presence at the junctions.
