lVlayrise maps Isle of Wight

Isle of Wight Council is creating the UK's most detailed inventory map as part of a £850 million investment in the Island's highways. The digital map is being created using special MAYRISE MapNow mapping software that is linked to an asset database. The map not only provides comprehensive information of every highway asset but also describes their type, condition and value. The MAYRISE system, which integrates data captured in the field with mapping, the NSG and the Council's LLPG, allows the council to store, retrieve, query and view highways asset data for highways management, customer service enquiries and an upcoming PFI bid.
