Ringway in battle for £190m Wiltshire contract

Ringway faces competition from Colas and May Qurney to hold onto its road maintenance contract with Wiltshire County Council. The contract has come up for renewal and the five-year deal could be worth up to £190 million to the successful bidder. Tenders must be returned by September 28 and the new contract is expected to start next summer. The contract covers a vast range of roads-related services from maintenance and traffic calming to surfacing, road barriers, street-scene equipment and street lighting maintenance.
