Amey to save council £200,000

The borough Cabinet approved the appointment of Amey to provide highways and bridge works, including winter service, for a. period of two years with the option to extend for a further year subject to satisfactory performance. The new contracts replace the existing contract with Balfour Beatty Living Places which comes to an end on 1 June 2012.
