Asphalt Manager II is available on the large 8.7 to 13.3 tonne articulated tandem rollers and the pivot-steer tandem rollers. The system automatically optimizes the compaction performance whilst rolling. It continuously measures the material stiffness to be compacted and it always provides the maximum compaction performance achievable. The compaction progress can be monitored on a special display, the BOMAG Operational Panel (BOP). The display also shows the operator the current asphalt surface temperature, the machines speed, and the effective amplitude being used.
