Dave Gaster trained as a civil engineer prior to entering into management, initially working in London for both major and minor highways design, tender and construct. He has headed all forms of direct services since 1984 within districts, counties and unitary authorities, up to and including being a corporate director heading 2,500 employees with a £100 million budget. Dave has performed these roles both as a council officer and as an interim, including several transformational projects, saving over £65m in the last 11 years.
