Bringing together the latest in technology, alongside innovative delivery solutions, is key to providing sustainable highways services for local authorities.It's an ethos that sits at the heart of the services Amey provides to councils across the UK, including Liverpool City Council - where £80 million is being invested into improvements to the city's highways network.The council secured the capital investment to allow it to improve the poorest sections of the network, enabling the delivery of major, long-term savings by reducing the need for urgent and reactive highways repairs.The funding will also improve the strategic gateways into Liverpool and key links within the city, as well as introducing LED street lighting to more than 3,000 streets.
