IHE President tells Sky News that potholes are a 'sticking plaster' solution

Potholes were the hot topic in January with IHE President Richard Hayes appearing on Sky News to discuss the issue. Speaking on the programme, Mr Hayes said: "Much of the UK's basic road infrastructure needs major attention now and carrying out patching/pothole repairs on our road network is a short term fix or 'sticking plaster' solution to the problem of a decaying network where large parts of the road system are time expired.
