Irish Branch Report

Another busy period for the Irish Branch started with the hosting of the "Road Maintenance Matters" seminar held on 13th of April in the Hudson Bay Hotel, Athlone, Co Roscommon. The Seminar was well attended with over 250 delegates attending on the day. A wide range of topics were covered with a particular focus on surface dressing. A special mention to Jim Campbell and Deirdre Flynn for co-ordinating a great seminar and to all the speakers who gave their time to present informative and topical presentations. A number of interesting points were raised during the day and a good bit of information to ponder, for example how many sheep do you need to equal a standard axle?
