Scott Wardrop (pictured left) spoke to ADEPT delegates about 'high risks in contracting with a race to the bottom, which should raise concerns in procurement' following the recent trade press reporting of negative or poor performing annual results of the top 50 infrastructure companies in the UK. 'The culture is one of talking about turnover but not the real margin made, or the indebtedness in companies. So, how much is actually re-invested in people, training and capital investments annually is a problem.'
