'I remember looking out of the car window and seeing the road and thinking how big it was, it sort of Looked like a big concrete monster, as I was only little.' Having grown up in the Midlands, Ms Kenny from Stourbridge has recently overseen a major concrete and waterproofing repair scheme worth £4.7m at Spaghetti Junction. The scheme was part of a maintenance package taking place across the Midlands to build a modern and resilient road network. 'I'm really proud to work for Highways England and I'm incredibly passionate about Spaghetti Junction,' says Ms Kenny.
