You know, I honestly felt sorry for the judges this year having to choose between such an excellent list of entries. As a civil engineering discipline, the roads sector has become one of the most exciting around and it takes something really special to stand out these days. All of the schemes our judges looked over had something exceptional about them and it is our honour to be able to celebrate the sector's great work.
