End-to-end asset management

Sustainable building materials group Tarmac, highways data specialist Gaist, and Metis, a civil engineering consultancy specialising in highway asset management, have forged an 'end-to-end asset management service' providing everything from data collection and analysis through to securing funding and scheme delivery. Peter Hyde, Tarmac Highways Services director, explains why his firm has led this initiative to help councils break free of the cycle of inadequate funding and inefficient reactive repairs.
