Contractors are being asked to prequalify for a specialist surface treatment framework in Yorkshire, which will see spending of £25m over the next four years. The Yorkshire Highway Alliance Contract is being set up by Kirklees Council but will be used by local authorities in Barnsley, Calderdale, Doncaster, Kirklees, Leeds, Rotherham, Wakefield and York. The agreement will start in the Autumn and the deadline for expressions of interest is 24 July.
