The IHE supports the 'Stamp it Out' campaign to stop roadworker abuse and make it a specific criminal offence to assault highway workers.Every day highway workers allow everyone in society to move around freely and safely, yet receive increasing numbers of threats and both verbal and physical abuse.This needs to stop. The IHE is calling on you to please support this campaign and sign the petition. The aim is to have government make it a criminal act to abuse road workers in their place of employment. This is a major issue for our industry and if the petition reaches the 10,000 or hopefully the 100,000 landmark, this will bring it to the attention of the UK Parliament to try and address this issue.
