Starting in early July, Kenson has resurfaced more than 194,000 square metres over 61 roads as part of the highways capital programme planned for 2020/21 in the London Borough of Redbridge, covering more than 75 roads. In addition to this scheme, the roads leading to two major Crossrail stations (Seven Kings and Goodmayes) have been resurfaced.The list of roads, which has been published on the council's website, were 'derived and prioritised from the highways asset management strategy and co-ordinated with other initiatives and utility works where practicable,' the council said.It added that the programme will utilise 'various treatments and techniques to remove potholes and restore a satisfactory surface'.
