Highways England award secured for Amey and Arup

A bid from Amey and Arup has secured a £45m design commission from Highways England for the A66 TransPennine roaddualling project. The award came as Highways England unveiled the preferred route for the £1bn scheme to link the M6 at Penrith in Cumbria with the A1(M) at Scotch Corner in North Yorkshire.
