Contracts round-up

Contractors have until 14 June to try to prequaliiy for a £55m design and build contract for Devon CC to widen a section of the A361 near Exeter. Tender documents will be issued to shortlisted contractors in October for the North Devon link Road project, which comprises widening an 11km section of the A361. The Department for Transport approved an outline approval business case last summer and planning permission was granted in February 2019. Work could start on-site later next year.
