Pension needs: Fact or fiction?

There is no getting away from it, the requirement to have your own pension is now a serious consideration and it would be foolish to think that this is one that will just go away. Although for many of us retirement seems a long way in the future, it is incredible how quickly it can creep up on us and how frustrating it will be when we realise that we have no future financial plans in place with retirement just around the corner. The earlier we make pension arrangements, the greater the benefit should be at retirement. I say 'should' as there are various different types of pensions available.
