Thank you for inviting me down today.rnWhen I was asked to say a few words, as usual I've reservations about addressing a gathering like this, because a lot of you know me and I'm terrified of being accused of shooting a line. It's very difficult to talk about your own career without saying a few words and being a little immodest. The other worry I have is that my memory is not what it used to be, so if I get dates, and places and people a little bit mixed, tolerate me, please.
