Supermarket conclusions are 'perverse'

The BHF Group and British Shops ft Stores Association, who between them represent nearly 8,000 retailers, are at odds with the interim report from the Competition Commission's enquiry into the four big UK supermarkets. They feel that in concentrating on the food supply issue the report has ignored the fact that the supermarket giants are increasingly important in non-food areas.
