Safety footwear and workwear brand Scruffs has been yacht racing - and won! Its ship, Team Scruffs, hoisted the Tall Ships Youth Trust Trophy for a third successive year last month. Captained by Tall Ships trustee Tim Allen, chairman of Scruffs' owners Birchwood Products, Team Scruffs was one of 21 teams participating in the annual Tall Ships Yacht Regatta in Port Solent, Portsmouth. The teams also helped to raise over £50,000 to give young and disadvantaged people the chance to sail with the Tall Ships Trust.
