Garden timber giant grows from merger

Garden timber manufacturer Hillhout has merged with Dutch company Gouderak BV, creating one of the largest garden timber firms in Europe. The new partnership will be known as the Outdoor Life Group. Steve Wain, head of sales at Outdoor Life Group (UK), said: "The Hillhout and Gouderak brands will continue to operate as normal and, in addition, will benefit from shared resources, distribution channels and industry know how. The Outdoor Life Group will be able to offer products and brands capable of catering for all sectors of the market and suiting all tastes and budgets."
