Clas Ohlson Set To Open Second Uk Store

Scandinavian home and hardware retailer Clas Ohlson is set to open its second UK store. Having opened its first UK store in the Whitgift Shopping Centre, Croydon, at the end of 2008, it has signed an agreement for the lease of a 2,500sq m store in Manchester. The store, which will be located in the Arndale Shopping Centre in the city centre, is scheduled to open in April. By the end of the 2008/2009 financial year, Clas Ohlson will have a total of 114 stores, with 55 of them in Sweden, 41 in Norway, 16 in Finland and two in the UK.
