Delivery of first AHTS

The MOSS 424type AHTS vessel »UOS Atlantis« was delivered from the Fincantieri Shipyard in Muggiano, Italy on the 27 February. It is the first Offshore Support Vessel ever to be delivered to the Hartmann Group. During the sea trials certified by the American Bureau of Shipping it proved capable of a bollard pull of close to 2001 and a maximum speed of about 17 knots. Until mid-2010 eleven further vessels, constructed in the same way, will be delivered in succession to Hartmann Offshore. Commercial management services for the fleet will be provided by UOS (United Offshore Support).
