The long promised boom has finally reached Brazil's shipyards. 18 production platforms (FPSO) are currently under construction, 33 drilling plummets have been ordered, and dozens more are yet to come. The volume may seem small by international standards, but would have been unimaginable even ten years ago - as would have been the creation of new yards and the resurrection of dead beat companies providing tens of thousands of additional jobs.
