Ballast water treatment concept

Steinbach Ingenieurtechnik, also known as SI-Technik, features a turnkey concept for ballast water treatment plants. It is a planning and sales office as well as a service provider in ship-related equipment offering premium support covering. The marine systems expert provides a modular Ballast-Water-Treatment plant with very small footprints of the Norwegian manufacturer MMC Green Technology and a financing concept. In May, MMC alone reported to have sold more than 70 of their BWMS systems so far - 30 Systems are in commission, mostly to shipyards but also to offshore vessel retrofits. Now the modular MMC Ballast-Water-Treatment-System has been installed more than 40 times, yet. It is a System which can be used for ballasting from 100 to 1.200 m~3.
