Sett Fiesta! Runner and Shawl

This project was born from a desire to get as much from every warp as we possibly can. We enjoy weaving complicated-looking fabrics without having to do a lot of complicated weaving, and we have a longstanding tradition of weaving multiple projects from one warp by varying the sett. It all began with a 14-yard warp sett at 96 ends per inch (epi) for rep mug rugs. Who knew that weaving 10 mug rugs would use only 2 yards of warp? What to do? Resley to 36 epi and make placemats. After weaving 8 placemats, we still had 6 yards of warp left. Then what? Resley to 24 epi and weave matching napkins!
