BSP unveils hammer range

Powerful yet lightweight is the promise made by the latest range of piling hammers to be launched by BSP International Foundations. According to BSP, the LX range has been developed to provide greater stability to piling rigs, especially in applications where a greater reach is required. The three models - the LX30, LX40 and LX50 - are designed to drive steel, concrete or timber piles in a range of ground conditions. The 6.7t operating weight LX30 has a ram mass of 2.5t to offer 20kNm of impact energy, while the 7.2t LX40 has a 3t ram mass to deliver 27kNm of impact energy and the 8.2t LX50 has a 4t ram mass that enables it to deliver an impact energy of 33kNm.
