Acropolis anchoring stabilises historic structures

Greece Rock anchors up to 6m in length are being used to stabilise the upstream rock slope of the Klepsydra Spring House on the north face of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, as part of a major restoration project. The spring house was first built in 460BC to collect rainwater from the slopes of the Acropolis as a water supply and historic records show that landslides and rockfalls have affected the structure since its construction.
