Charleroi, Belgium: Riverside living

Installing a 1,200m long secant pile wall, 1,200 ground anchors and 1,000 micropiles may sound fairly run of the mill for a geotechnical contractor but at a site in Belgium this meant operating up to eight piling rigs and 10 excavators within the same city centre site. Franki's work is for a new hotel and residential development with basement parking next to the river in Charleroi.
