Landrieu touts seniority in La. runoff attack ad

Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu (D) will lose her spot at the helm of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee next year even if she wins re-election, but that isn't stopping the lawmaker from touting her seniority in the chamber as she attacks Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy (R) in a new campaign ad. Landrieu and Cassidy will face off in a Dec. 6 runoff for the Senate seat after no candidate claimed a majority of the vote in the state's jungle primary on Election Day.
