Air pollution kills an estimated 7 million people around the world each year, according to a report published today by the World Health Organization. Wood and coal cooking ovens used in many parts of Asia accounted for more than half the deaths, according to WHO. And outdoor air pollution resulted in 3.7 million deaths.
