An Obama administration effort to help different types of agriculture get along may have intensified animosity between supporters and foes of genetically modified crops. The Agriculture Department received more than 4,000 individual comments on its request for how it can foster collaboration and communication between GMO users and organic farmers. Most of the comments came from GMO critics who expressed concern about contamination of crops and argued that USDA doesn't promote coexistence.
