Federal appellate judges today appeared skeptical of an electronic component maker's bid to remove itself from U.S. EPA's Superfund cleanup program in a closely watched case tied to an upcoming Supreme Court argument. CTS Corp. of Elkhart, Ind., claimed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit that EPA manipulated testing data in order to add its former electroplating facility in Asheville, N.C., to EPA's National Priorities List.
