Forest Service permits controversial Idaho exploration

The Forest Service has given Vancouver, British Columbia-based American CuMo Mining Corp. the green light to explore for minerals within the Boise National Forest. Environmental groups, including the Idaho Conservation League, have for years been fighting the exploration, saying CuMoCo could become one of the world's largest open pit mines.
